Salmina N.G., Zvonova E.V., Tsukarzi A.E. (2019). Symbolic function in the structure of consciousness. Moscow University Psychology Bulletin, 3, 124-140

Relevance. The results of the interaction of man and the environment are fixed and function in the mind with the help of signs and symbols. The need to study the patterns of mastering the subject content presented in a symbolic form, as well as socialization in general, makes it important to appeal to the fundamental question of the correlation of symbolic function with the structure and work of consciousness.

Objective. This article represents the processual model of consciousness allowing to consider the symbolic function as a moving force of human connection with the surrounding world. The essence of this connection is cognitive.

Methods. Analysis, synthesis and modeling. The study was carried out in the concept of a semiotic approach.

Results. Social origin of consciousness allows to model its structure. The following components of consciousness can be distinguished: the sensual fabric of an image; biodynamic fabric of the movement and action; meaning; sense.

The symbolic function should be studied within the concept of the processual model consciousness. Logic of processual model imposes studying of signs and symbols moving from the separate nominal condition through the systemic organization to the reflection.

Conclusions. Consciousness can be studied through the processual model, where the main characteristic of its elements is the interaction and mediation by signs and symbols. The primacy of a sign or symbol is determined by the degree of orientation of the subject in the situation. The transition of a sign into a symbol occurs as a result of the inclusion of a separate sign in an increasing number of sign-symbolic systems. This is possible in the process of personal temporal and spatial inclusion in the general vector of the “chronotope”.

Rossokhin A.V. (2011). From polylogue to interpolyloque. The Moscow University Psychology Bulletin, 1, 91-99

The work is aimed at the studying of the dynamics of internal polylogue during psychoanalytical process. New conception of interpolylogue was introduced and grounded. An interpolylogue arises during external dialogue of two subjects by nonlinear multivariate and conflicting interaction of three components: the internal polylogues of every subject and external dialogue between them. An assumption about interpolylogue nature of consciousness was made.

Allakhverdov V.M.(2008).The symphonic power of consciousness. Moscow University Psychology Bulletin,3,3-19

This article claims: the nature of consciousness is mysterious, the definitions are contradictory, and its theory is non=existent. The article presents the results of studies that cannot be explained within the recognized models. Specifically, we describe the phenomenon of negative choice. We introduce an idealized brain that does not have limitations in either volume, or speed of processing the information, nor does it have the limits of the storage capacity. Under this view, we answer the question: what does an ideal brain needs consciousness for? We propose that consciousness is the imitator of the acts of cognition.

Petrenko V. F.(2010).let’s return consciousness to psychology! The Moscow University Psychology Bulletin, 3, 121-141

Purpose of this polemical article is author’s aim to view problem of consciousness (it’s history begins from the Classic greek, indian and Chinese philosophy, it has several thousands years history) in wide context of contemporary physics and semiotics. lack of significant advances in contemporary psychological science in the studying of consciousness demands, in our opinion, both philosophical, methodological bases of this problem and conceptual frameworks of this area. On the material of altered states of consciousness we study interpretation of consciousness as secondary perception in a sign form (what rises up to hegel) or interpretation consciousness as system of a meanings which is mediates world view (l. vygotsky, a. leontiev, a. luria).
