Brain mechanisms of subjective (internal) rhythmisation were examined in two experimental cases. One of the tasks was to combine acoustic rhythmic clicks as pairs; another task was to combine the same monotone clicks as triples. With the method of factorial analysis some types of specific variation of EVP form on the clicks which took different place in patterns were figured out. Analysis of dynamics of brain structures activity revealed some types of functional brain architectonics while subjects were performing a task of combining clicks. Specific cerebellum activation took place both in rhythm perception and in subject’s activity of integration of cognitive processes. This took place when subject used hierarchical strategy of rhythm perception.

The article presents review of foreign socio-psychological theories of the drug addiction development: social learning theory or social cognitive theory (Bandura), social networks theory (Needle et al.) and social influence theory (Ling et al.), stages of behavior change theory (Prochaska, DiClemente), health belief model (Rosenstock), socio-ecological theory (Hansen), social control theory (Elliot), the social development model (Hawkins, Weis), family interaction theory (Brook et al.), problem behavior theory (Jessor). Most researchers in the socio-psychological approach to address the factors of drug addiction among young people focus on the characteristic of the social environment.

The article deals with the statement of the problem of connection between the antedating reflection and the effectiveness of manager’s professional development, with the description of the progress of the research and with the definition of ways of data analysis. This research can enrich scientific psychology to the fundamental concept of the antedating reflection and help practical psychology to work with managerial staff to increase their professional development efficiency. The author puts forward the hypothesis that the antedating reflection contributes professional development of managers by forming conscious position to professional development and career making.

The article describes the main ideas of A.A. Verbitskiy’s model of contextual learning of high school students, and some of the results of questionnaire study of Moscow State University psychological department students’ impressions, collected from them after the completion of general psychological practicum course. In his model, A.A. Verbitskiy attempts to solve the crucial methodical (if not methodological) controversy of higher professional education, which is that students must master the basics of professional activity during their learning activities. The students’ evaluation of general psychological practicum appears to be consistent and comparable with the foundational principles of A.A.Verbitskiy’s concept of high school education.

This article covers various aspects of studying the time perspective in connection with a person’s extreme experience. Certain researches are analyzed from the view- point of temporal conception of the time form creation activity (M.Sh. Magomed- Eminov). 

The article presents the results of an experimental research of color distinguishing by city dwellers of China and a midland of Russia. Comparison of color vision was made under the basic chromatic characteristics (hue and saturation) in terms of spherical model of color distinguishing. The cross-cultural differences are not revealed. That is for about threshold light stimulus, the color distinguishing is carried out in visual system of the people belonging to different cultures, absolutely equally, both for radiation, and for light reflected from a surface. Hence, the spherical model of color vision is adequate representation of color distinguishing without dependence from a cultural habitat of subjects.

The study is devoted to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation the problem of effective professional adaptation of the growing contingent of military women taking into account peculiarities of value, motivational, semantic spheres of their personal organization. The pilot study helped to identify and statistically confirm three significant levels in the structure of motivation of professional activity of military women. The key motivational determinants of successful professional activity are outlines.

To the 70th anniversary of Valentina Vasilievna Nikolayeva.

The article considers problems in zoopsychology and comparative psychology teaching that Russian universities are facing nowadays. The teaching of this discipline by lacking special interdisciplinary qualifications lecturers often leads to misapprehension of the subject by students. The problem is also aggravated by growing opposition between two major paradigms in treatment of the human nature (socio-cultural and biological approaches) and increased biologization tendencies in human behavior interpretations manifesting themselves in direct analogies with behavior models of animals belonging to various taxons.
